About the field guide

No perfect laundry room required.

No Laundry Room helps renters and small-home residents build workable washing, drying, airflow, shared-laundry, and storage systems.

The problem we work on

Most laundry advice starts with a room, permanent hookups, a large machine, and space to leave everything in place. Millions of apartment households do not start there. The 2024 U.S. Residential Energy Consumption Survey reports that 11.44 million homes in apartment buildings with five or more units do not have a clothes washer at home, and 11.92 million do not have a clothes dryer at home.

No Laundry Room starts with the missing room. We map the complete routine: permission, path, faucet or shared machine, drain, outlet, drying capacity, indoor moisture, storage, and reset.

What you will find here

Guides are published by the No Laundry Room Editorial Desk, which explains the byline, research role, AI assistance, and limits of current experience claims.

Our promise

We do not call a product “tested” unless it has been physically tested under a documented method. Research, comparison, or manual review will be labeled as such.

What this site is not

It is not plumbing, electrical, medical, legal, building-code, or appliance-service advice. A guide cannot see your lease, outlet, pipes, health needs, or exact product. The current lease, product manual, garment label, local requirements, and qualified professionals control the final decision.

How the site is funded

The site currently contains no affiliate product links. It may later earn a commission from clearly disclosed qualifying purchases, without changing the price paid by the reader. Commercial relationships will not purchase a conclusion or remove a relevant drawback.
